We have a heartbeat!!!!!
I can't even express what a relief it was to hear the sweet sound of our baby's heart. On Wednesday, January 15th, I had convinced myself that the OB wasn't going to be able to find it, so when I started to hear that rapid "thump thump" sound, I thought that maybe it was my pulse she had picked up. It wasn't until she said, "That's your baby" that it really sunk in. It was great to have Luke in the room to hear it with me.
It amazing how much more confident I feel in this pregnancy now. I have a lime sized baby in my womb, and I can't wait for it to keep growing! NT scan is in two weeks (1/31), and then we actually get to see our little one on the big screen. I am still just in a bit of disbelief that there really is something growing in me.
